Where can I buy one ? Mine is crap
Hey I would really appreciate it if you have service manual for this. I just got one and need to make sure I’m taking care of it properly. I know a little bit not much about this boat. Please and thank you
Friend I need your help, my MECHANIC is repairing my Sea Ray 120 sport jet, 1995, the SHAFT-IMPELLER (part number 820505) inside the stator, water got in, no lubrication and stuck, no one can get it out, to replace the bearing, please tell me if they are doing something wrong, how do you get the stator out? is it in the shape of a donut? Or just removing the screws should it come out?
Hey larry. Would u consider doing this for my 96 fx16? I live in dubuque area. I could bring it to you.
Is there any video showing how to change the drive fluid on this exact boat?
I recently purchased a Mercury Sportjet 90 do you know how I can change the oil please? and where is the inlet and outlet of the cooling located please?
@@hardcoreac I checked the engine and found out that it was a two stroke engine and I mixed the oil with fuel ⛽. thank you
Take stator and turn nozzle and reverse bucket off all as a unit. 4)15Mm bolts 1)11mm 2)Phillips 1)cotter pin.
Take me 15 mins to get my wear ring out of my xr2 pump
Thanks man! I needed these videos!
Great video! My brother I am in the same boat literally. AI bought mine for 2 grand and it goes about 10mph. Idk what to do the engine runs great! But it's just not putting the power down.
You need to do what he's doing in these videos. I'm in the process of repairing mine right now.
Awesome videos give us an update!
I've just picked up a 90hp sport jet as well. How fast have you gotten that boat, and how heavy is your boat
Also, I could potentially MIG weld an aluminum bar on that ride plate for you.
Larry can you do a video on the hose hookup and water pressure for starting it on land?
Jon. The garden hose hookup will require an adapter that you have to make yourself from a hardware store or purchase online. I made one at Ace hardware for 14 bucks..... You will first have to unhook the water intake hose from the hull/floor plate of the engine. That hose will be found on the "passenger" side of the engine you will see a black hose going from floor plate to the side of the engine block... Unhook the hose at the FLOOR PLATE, leaving the hose attached to where it goes into the side of the engine. On the end of that hose is where you will need to attach the garden hose adapter that you buy or make. Once you have that garden hose adapter on the water intake hose connect your garden hose. City water pressure in my area is 32 lb psi. YOU MUST START THE ENGINE FIRST BEFORE adding water to the engine. If you turn the water on first you could hydrol lock your engine and crack the block. Once you have started your engine, go ahead and "crack open" your garden hose valve. I usually give mine 1.5 to 2 full turns. I do this every year to my 1993 Bayliner Jazz, with the 90 hp Merc sport jet to make sure that my fuel stabilizer has made it into the carbs for winter storage........... Side note. Thank you Larry for posting this video. It will help me resurface my own wear ring on my jet drive. My boat is part of a river rescue and dive team. Since it is a jet drive I can get in closer where the bigger boat cannot, I want to keep this running as best as I can. I am currently in the process of replacing the stator, trigger, and voltage regulator. I smoked the stator for sure... Thanks again for making these videos. I appreciate it.
Larry thank you for posting this content!!!! Huge help to me as I learn from you. I have a 1994 Rayder and just found your videos. Please keep posting I love the content.
